Art has been intertwined with the fabric of my existence for as long as I can remember. From the moment I first gripped a pencil, those around me sensed a burgeoning creative talent. My world became a tapestry of drawings, paintings, and immersive explorations into the vast realm of art history.
It was in 2016, amidst the gentle embrace of a captivating rain in Cape Town Noordhoek, when destiny took an unexpected turn: my best friend entrusted me with her Canon DSLR 1200D, urging me to capture a fleeting moment of her in the rain.
In the span of mere seconds, my life transformed in ways I could scarcely fathom. It was as if time stood still, and the universe conspired to grant me a moment of pure magic. The raindrops provided a rhythmic backdrop to my revelation—a cinematic pause in the symphony of life.
Those three seconds, illuminated by the ethereal glow of raindrops, etched an indelible mark on my soul. In that instant, I discovered my purpose.
